Corn patties


2 boiled corn husks

– or 3 grated carrots

– or 2 grated beets

– or half cabbage

2 spoons of smoked paprika and cumin

3 spoons of wholemeal flour

1 egg

2 cloves of garlic grated

one onion chopped finely

2 spoons of soy sauce

a finger of grated ginger

black pepper

2 spoons of sunflower oil


Mash the corn until it is a puree, then in a large bowl mix all the ingredients except the oil. Add half a cup of hot water.

With the mixture, form round patties with two spoons, and cook them in a pan with the oil until they become crispy on the outside.

Serve them with salad, sautéed vegetables, quinoa or whatever you like! If you like spicy serve them with soy sauce with grated ginger and more pepper.
